The rules governing use of the Neg platform, for both clients and registered professionals.

Acceptance of terms
By creating an account on Neg, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any item, you must stop using the platform.
Neg may change these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 15 days before they take effect.

Nature of the service
Neg is a marketplace platform that connects clients with self-employed professionals providing home services. Neg is neither the professionals' employer nor the direct provider of the services. It acts solely as an intermediary.
Registered professionals are responsible for carrying out the services, the quality of their work and meeting the tax and fiscal obligations relating to their self-employed activity.

Registration and account
To use Neg you must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out under your account.
Neg may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, involve abusive behaviour, attempted fraud or sharing contact details outside the platform with the aim of avoiding commission.

Payments and commission
Payments are processed via Stripe. When confirming a booking, the client authorises a pre-authorisation of the estimated amount on their card. The actual charge only takes place once the professional finishes the service and reports the actual hours and any materials.
Neg charges commission on the labour amount (not on materials or tips). The current rate is shown at the time of booking. Future changes to the commission apply only to new requests.
Payouts to professionals are made within 7 working days of the service being completed and charged.

Cancellations and disputes
Cancellations made by the client up to 2 hours before the scheduled time are free. After that window, a partial charge may apply according to the specific policy of each category.
Disputes must be opened from the booking panel. The mediation team reviews the history, chat and evidence, and may decide on a partial refund, a full refund or keeping the charge.

Communication within the platform
All conversations between clients and professionals must take place within the Neg chat. Sharing a phone number, email or social media in order to bypass the platform is prohibited and may result in suspension.
Neg uses automated moderation and human review to identify attempts to bypass the platform. Messages flagged as suspicious may be reviewed by the support team.

Limitation of liability
Neg is not liable for material damage caused by professionals while carrying out the services, for delays arising from causes beyond the platform's control, or for disagreements between client and professional over the scope of the work. If you run into a problem, open a dispute from the booking panel.

Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the District of São Paulo, SP, are elected as the competent forum, to the exclusion of any other, to settle any matters arising from these Terms.
